  • The B Square reported property transfers in Monroe County from Dec. 16 to Dec. 29, 2025 — sale prices ranged from $25,000 to $919,000 based on Beacon data. The report is part of a new Sunday series tracking local property transactions.  The B Square Bulletin

SPORTS NEWS

  • Indiana football added safety Jiquan Sanks from Cincinnati via the transfer portal on Sunday morning + he played 12 games for the Bearcats last season with 42 tackles and a forced fumble, which will boost the team's secondary as veteran players exit eligibility.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana football has announced the signing of former TCU quarterback Josh Hoover, ranked ninth in the transfer portal, and he will join the Hoosiers in Bloomington + work with head coach Curt Cignetti and staff to boost the team’s performance.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana basketball closed out a 90-80 win over Washington Sunday night when Lamar Wilkerson scored clutch baskets—bench players Trent Sisley, Reed Bailey and Nick Dorn added key points as Sam Alexis sealed the win with a final play.  The Herald-Times
  • Indiana basketball hosted Washington on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington & returned after nearly two weeks off as the Big Ten schedule heated up.  The Herald-Times
  • Indiana football signed Kansas State transfer defensive lineman Tobi Osunsanmi Sunday afternoon to strengthen its defensive line in Bloomington. The 6-foot-3 player, rated as one of the top transfers, has one season eligibility remaining and is expected to replace departing players.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti added Boston College transfer running back Turbo Richard as the Hoosiers' sixth commitment on Sunday. He rushed for 749 yards and nine touchdowns last season, visited Bloomington with two seasons of eligibility, and his move may boost the offense + deepen the running back room.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana women's basketball signees Gigi Battle and Ashlinn James will play in a prep battle at Bloomington South Tuesday at 6 p.m. DME Academy faces Assumption High School to give fans a preview of IU's upcoming talent.  The Herald-Times
  • Conor Enright posted season-highs of 12 points + 9 assists in Indiana's 90-80 win over Washington at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Sunday; his play boosted the team's record to 11-3 as they prepare for tougher games ahead.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana men's basketball held off Washington with a 90-80 win at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall Sunday night. Freshman Trent Sisley scored 10 straight points in the second half, and coach Darian DeVries praised the team's deep effort ahead of upcoming Big Ten contests.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana football added Michigan transfer Nick Marsh to strengthen its transfer class on Sunday, boosting the team's wide receiver depth for the 2026 season. Marsh, who posted strong stats at Michigan State, becomes IU's second transfer commitment in this cycle.  The Herald-Times
  • Indiana football added former Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh Sunday (he has two seasons of eligibility) as he visited Bloomington ahead of a season of turnover in the receiving corps.  Indiana Daily Student
  • Indiana football added its first transfer acquisition—former Wisconsin safety Preston Zachman—as he committed to join the Hoosiers on Jan. 2.   • Indiana football landed TCU transfer quarterback Josh Hoover on Sunday night. He, ranked No. 9 among QBs, played four seasons for the Horned Frogs (posting over 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in each of his last two seasons) and is set to boost the team’s offense.  The Herald-Times
