- ➤ Off Night Productions (a non-profit championing female and non-binary leadership) will present a stage reading of political comedy POTUS: Or, Behind Every Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive on Feb. 6-7 at the Simon Music Building, where its humor sparks talks on representation in theater. - ➤ The Jacobs graduate associations will host the 32nd Annual Symposium of Research in Music at the Simon Music Building from Feb. 6 to Feb. 7. The two-day event will feature workshops and presentations by music experts (including keynote speaker Susan McClary). Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Today, IU Bloomington was named a top producer for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program as 12 students earned awards, placing the university among the nation’s top 40 producers. The awards will let scholars gain global research and teaching experience in nine countries. Indiana University

- ➤ Former EPA head Gina McCarthy will speak tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Room at IU's Mauer School of Law (211 S. Indiana Ave.), discussing environmental advocacy. - ➤ Bloomington is partnering with United Way of South Central Indiana to offer free tax preparation services at City Hall every Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. until April 8 for residents earning $67,000 or less; Indiana Legal Services will also provide onsite consultations. City of Bloomington

- ➤ A new IU report recommends that Indiana boost primary and preventive care to cut emergency visits and lower costs; the report suggests expanding insurance coverage, supporting community clinics, and broadening provider practices (measures that could benefit patients, employers, and taxpayers). - ➤ The Indiana Hoosiers unveiled a limited-edition bobblehead collection featuring star quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Coach Cignetti, and Hoosier the Bison to celebrate their 2025 national title.
