- ➤ R.P. Lumber completed its acquisition of Bender Lumber, including the Bloomington location at 6002 W. State Road 46, and said customer service and jobs would remain unchanged. The deal expands the family-owned retailer’s network to 99 stores across six states. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Poindexter now offers a full bar along with its coffee shop at the Graduate by Hilton on E. Kirkwood Ave. Renovations finished in mid-Oct. 2025 and the business serves alcohol from 4 p.m., hosting weekly music events and trivia to attract students and hotel guests. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ Bloomington will host multiple live music events this week as American Pirates launch their album release tour with a show at the Orbit Room Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Mariachi Herencia de México performs at the IU Auditorium Thursday at 7:30 p.m. (tickets vary) with more events later. - ➤ IU professors are updating AI policies as a 2024 task force report recommends approved tools like ChatGPT Edu (along with Adobe Firefly and Microsoft Copilot) and lets departments set course-specific rules. - ➤ Indiana softball ended the Littlewood Invitational on a 3-2 record after mixing strong hits with moments of weak offense. The Hoosiers will start the University of South Florida Tournament on Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. against Colgate University. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana softball debuted its new pitching staff at the Littlewood Invitational in Tempe last weekend. The team, featuring a freshman and three transfers, went 3-2 as a 23-0 win stood in sharp contrast to losses where late runs hurt their effort. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana wrestling's 5-dual home winning streak ended Sunday at Wilkinson Hall when No. 5 Nebraska beat the team 34-5, with only Jacob Moran winning his 125-pound bout. The Hoosiers will face Purdue at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 to close their season. Indiana Daily Student
