- ➤ On Feb. 15, the Miss Indiana University Scholarship Competition unfolded at Wilkie Auditorium in Bloomington, where eight contestants performed singing, violin, and hula hoop routines while a raffle helped support Crimson Cupboard Food Pantry — a highlight of the evening. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ IU Bloomington will mark America’s 250th anniversary this spring with courses, lectures, performances and exhibitions that explore the Revolutionary War era. The campus will display its rare Dunlap Broadside (one of 26 surviving copies) at Lilly Library to connect students and local residents with the nation’s founding principles. Indiana University

- ➤ Indiana University spent $430,000 on federal lobbying in 2025, $10,000 less than in 2024, marking its first decrease since 2021 + a five-year rise of $150,000. Lobbyists focused on research policies, student aid and college athletics, according to quarterly reports. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ The City of Bloomington is inviting local nonprofit organizations to apply for Downtown Outreach grants — funded by opioid settlement funds — to support opioid recovery services.
