- ➤ Video footage captured damage to the Monroe County Humane Association after an EF-1 tornado hit Bloomington on Feb. 19 (shelter officials are reviewing the damage to ensure animal safety). The Herald-Times

- ➤ IU's Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences launched its first weather balloon on campus Saturday and will launch two more today at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. near East 11th Street (and East Cottage Grove Avenue) to boost student training and improve local forecasting. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ Indiana men's basketball lost 93-64 to Purdue Friday night in West Lafayette + Purdue dominated the game from tipoff to finish, and the Hoosiers will focus on their 7 p.m. Tuesday home game against the Wildcats at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Indiana Daily Student
