- ➤ The ice arena at 2100 S. Henderson St. was evacuated Tuesday evening after an ammonia leak was detected, with 30 people leaving safely; the facility remains closed until a contractor’s report determines if it can reopen for fall events. The Herald-Times

- ➤ The IU Eskenazi Museum of Art presents the Mulyana: Vital Ecosystems exhibit in its Henry Radford Hope Wing, where vibrant installations made from recycled materials explore ocean biodiversity and Indonesian culture. - ➤ Jeff Linkon, IU Hillel's executive director since Sept. 2024, announced he will step down at the end of June. Bloomington board chair Michael Mervis will coordinate with Hillel International and local leaders to plan a smooth transition for the campus group. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana University was ranked second most beautiful campus today in a study based on Tripadvisor reviews that found 58% of visitors praised its Collegiate Gothic architecture. The study compared over 40 campuses and builds on IU’s string of honors. The Herald-Times

- ➤ At Tuesday (Mar. 11) meeting, Monroe County officials explained that a one-month shift in innkeeper’s tax revenue distributions and the exclusion of short-term rental income complicated year-over-year comparisons, while city officials planned to review potential regulation of short-term rentals later this year. - ➤ The City of Bloomington is accepting applications for the SEEL Grant Program that offers up to $25,000 for renewable energy and energy efficiency upgrades at eligible local facilities & small businesses.
