- ➤ Bloomington's 50501 chapter will hold a "No Kings" rally on Saturday, March 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Monroe County courthouse lawn — featuring speeches, live music by Carrie Newcomer, and a food drive for Mother Hubbard's Cupboard. The Herald-Times

- ➤ The IU Chamber Orchestra performed five classical pieces with guest conductor Jeffrey Kahane on March 11 at the Musical Arts Center. Winners of the Mozart Double Piano Concerto Competition played a duet of Mozart's piece during the event. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Constellation Stage and Screen will present The Da Vinci Code from March 26 to April 12 at the Waldron Arts Center Auditorium (122 S. Walnut St). The play uses projection mapping and live music for a cinematic stage experience and offers tickets starting at $13 on Thursdays. The Herald-Times

- ➤ Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington welcomed new dean Kurt Ribisl on March 1. He aims to boost research (and secure more funding) as he works with the state health department to expand local public health initiatives. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ IU Hillel's executive director, Jeff Linkon, will step down this summer after serving since fall 2024. In his Feb. 26 email, he assured students that the governing board and Hillel International (a partner in managing the transition) will guide the organization. The Herald-Times

- ➤ Local officials are considering a plan to transfer Seminary Pointe apartments—one of Bloomington’s few affordable housing options—to serve as a hotel site for the expanding convention center, while tenants with leases through July 7 will face nonrenewal notices and must soon seek alternative housing.
