CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Jacobs School of Music Ballet Department held its final mainstage production last Friday at IU’s Musical Arts Center, showcasing a colorful blend of classical and contemporary ballet acts that celebrated the dancers’ hard-working artistry. Indiana Daily Student
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ IU economics professor Gerhard Glomm said students may have to tighten their budgets as Monroe County gas prices remain high at $4.156 per gallon, and fewer customers are buying full tanks at local stations. Local drivers and service workers are already feeling the pinch. Indiana Daily Student
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Effective July 1, a law will make public sleeping a Class C misdemeanor in Bloomington, with fines up to $500 and jail time for camping within 300 feet of a warning. Hotels for Homeless is prepping a shelter bus while the sheriff’s office will connect residents with services (preserving dignity). Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ A new Beacon report shows Monroe County property transfers from March 7 to March 30 — covering a wide range of sales prices and property types. The B Square now updates these reports every Sunday for community reference. The B Square Bulletin
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Caleb Koskie recorded a record four hits + four RBIs while driving Indiana to its second series win over Rutgers at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, and he extended his 12 game hitting streak on Sunday as the team prepares to host Ball State on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana track and field competed in Baton Rouge at Battle on the Bayou on Friday and Saturday. Senior Camden Marshall won the 1,500-meter and 800-meter runs while several athletes set personal bests, and the team will next compete at the Crimson Tide Invitational on April 10 in Tuscaloosa.
