- ➤ The national tour of Beetlejuice the musical will perform four shows (April 10-12) at IU Auditorium, with pre-show talks led by folklore and ethnomusicology PhD student Gwynedd R. - ➤ Indiana University’s Office of Student Life has placed Alpha Kappa Lambda on a cease and desist order for hazing allegations — the order, posted on Thursday, Apr. 2, remains in effect until further notice. The Herald-Times
- ➤ On March 31, third-year students at IU Maurer School of Law received $10,000 each from anonymous donors who gave nearly $1.6 million to ease tuition costs (a life-changing boost near graduation) and bring the class together amid financial relief. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ Bloomington Parks and Recreation conducted a survey in late 2025 showing high support from 405 residents (90% positive about local parks and trails) and will use the input to shape a five-year master plan with a draft to be reviewed on April 23 before final adoption in May. City of Bloomington

- ➤ Bloomington's first Arabic halal restaurant Layali Feast opens today at 228 S. Grant St, sharing space with Coffee Beanery. The family-run eatery began as a ghost kitchen in 2025 and offers take-out and delivery from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and dine-in from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. (shawarma station still under construction).
