- ➤ Bloomington consumers joined a boycott after Target cut back its diversity, equity and inclusion programs—IU senior Cashmere Booker said she posted on social media to urge others to stop shopping there. Other large companies have also reduced DEI efforts as a state bill now limits such training and programs, with a full House vote scheduled on April 15th. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ Pierick Smith, known as Paintin’ Manning, creates 3D sports art called Pop-Pop Art by layering wood and foam-core to give his work depth—he moved to Bloomington in November 2013 with his wife and two children. His art honors famous athletes and can take from a few days to several months to complete based on size and detail. The Herald-Times

- ➤ Senate Enrolled Act 10 will bar college students from using CrimsonCards as proof of identification when voting and is now waiting for Governor Mike Braun to sign or veto it — he has seven days to decide. Some college groups say the change may make voting harder because students might have to get another photo ID from the BMV. Indiana Daily Student
