- ➤ Bloomington and AccessAbleUSA today launched guides for 20 spots that detail accessibility features such as entrances, routes and restrooms to help locals find businesses, cultural venues and essential services that suit diverse needs. The Herald-Times

- ➤ Magdalena Bay will perform at IU Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday during Little 500 week with local band Six Foot Blonde opening. Tickets cost between $44 and $74 and IU students receive a discount with valid ID. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ Monroe County offers Tire Amnesty Day on May 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the county fairgrounds for residents to dispose of old tires at no cost (up to eight per vehicle), helping reduce illegal dumping and promote safe disposal. The Herald-Times
- ➤ Earth Day on April 18, 2026 at Switchyard Park in Bloomington brought community groups together to promote environmental practices. Local organizations, including Art Remains Creative ReUse Center (formerly on Sixth Street) and Electrify Indiana, featured interactive activities, food trucks, and vendors in a free public event from noon to 3:30 p.m. Indiana Daily Student

- ➤ Indiana men's golf battled rain and wind at The Pfau Course on Saturday and Sunday in the Hoosier Collegiate, finishing 55-over-par and 12th overall. Coach Mike Mayer said the team will improve before the Big Ten Championships starting May 1 in North Plains, Oregon. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Freshman Aubree Hooks pitched in Iowa City as Indiana softball won a 2-1 series against Iowa, improving her record to 9-2 & lowering her ERA to 2.32. The team will return to Andy Mohr Field at 5 p.m. Wednesday to face Valparaiso. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana track and field split the team into three groups this weekend, winning eight events at meets in North Carolina, Florida, and Terre Haute, and will now prepare for the Jesse Owens Invitational in Columbus on May 1-2. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana softball won a 2-1 series against Iowa after a Friday game was canceled for severe weather — forcing a Saturday doubleheader and Sunday's rubber match. The team will host Valparaiso on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Sophomore outfielder Caleb Koskie hit a go-ahead single to give Indiana a 5-4 win over Abilene Christian Sunday at Bart Kaufman Field and tied a 21-game hit streak record; he will attempt to extend it to 22 in Tuesday’s game in Muncie while coach Jeff Mercer praised his mental adjustments. - ➤ Indiana women's basketball added former Iowa State guard Kenzie Hare on Sunday, joining other transfers and freshmen to fill roster gaps after an 18-14 season.
