  • A lost $515 million eVTOL project gave Bloomington Economic Development Corp. a lesson on site readiness during its April board meeting, pointing out local infrastructure gaps.   • Indiana University will award over 21,000 degrees nationwide in nine ceremonies during May. In Bloomington, the graduate ceremony is set for 3 p.m. at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Friday, May 8 & the undergraduate event is at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 9.  Indiana University

  • Veterans service officer Steven Miller begins his sixth year today at Monroe County Veterans Service Office, where he helps veterans, service members and families access VA disability, pension, home loans and state benefits.   • Indiana football’s unforgettable 2026 season ended with a national title win at Hard Rock Stadium, and Memorial Stadium in Bloomington has been renovated (honoring that moment).
