- ➤ Indiana University was ranked 10th worst for punishing free speech by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression—seven cases from 2020 to 2024 involved campus bans for protests, an investigation into a TikTok video and a probe into online posts; only the University of Florida, Montclair State and University of South Florida handed out more punishments.
