  • MoCOAD is asking volunteers 18 and older to help clear tornado storm debris and move yard waste to county dumpsters—volunteers must pass a background check and sign a waiver, with shift details coming soon.   • Jarrod Franklin, a Bloomington resident, took his two kids to their first auction at French Lick Resort where he unexpectedly won a 1959 Corvette for $59,500—part of former Sheriff Jamey Noel’s vintage vehicle sale that raised $1.2 million to help pay restitution.  The Herald-Times

  • Indiana basketball will travel to Puerto Rico this summer for three exhibition games after a major roster overhaul led by new coach Darian DeVries — the Hoosiers will play a Puerto Rican all-star team on Aug. 6 and face Serbian club Mega Superbet on Aug. 9 and 11 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum.  The Herald-Times
  • The Indiana University men’s basketball team will travel to San Juan for exhibition games in Puerto Rico from Aug. 5 to Aug. 12—playing against a Puerto Rican All-Star team on Aug. 6 and Serbian club Mega Superbet on Aug. 9 and 11 as they build team spirit for the new season.
