- ➤ Bloomington’s redevelopment commission approved $300,000 for preliminary designs on a host hotel project at the former Bunger & Robertson site—this step supports a potential partnership with Dora Hospitality for the soon-to-be-expanded convention center, which breaks ground today and could later generate tens of millions in revenue. The commission also voted to end leases for eight tenants at Showers West—tenant damages will be negotiated or decided in court as legal pressure mounts for the space to serve a public purpose.
