- ➤ On Tuesday, local leaders held a ceremonial groundbreaking at the corner of 3rd Street and College Avenue for the 60,000-square foot Bloomington Convention Center expansion—public utilities will be relocated next week and demolition of the former NAPA Auto Parts building is scheduled for June 20. - ➤ The U.S. Labor Department announced that Atterbury Job Corps in Edinburgh, which had 275 students, will shut down by June 30, forcing nearly 300 at-risk students to vacate the campus, leaving many without a safe place to stay.
