- ➤ Indiana State Police is investigating the death of a man pulled from a trailer fire on Sunday morning in Linton — firefighters noted his injuries were not caused by the blaze and an autopsy is pending. WTHR

- ➤ Egg prices in Indiana have dropped—USDA data from June 3 shows the average fell to $5.12 a dozen from a peak of $6.23 in March—while stores now sell eggs for as little as $2.96. The Herald-Times

- ➤ The City of Bloomington is warning residents about the invasive spotted lanternfly, found in Bartholomew County about 50 miles away, because the pest may soon harm local crops and trees. - ➤ Monroe County Board of Health is set to review a draft policy that would manage public comments following criticism at recent meetings. The board will meet on June 26 and plans to consider final revisions for a vote in August. The B Square Bulletin

- ➤ Data from Realtor.com for March showed that Monroe County median home prices rose to $290,000 from $258,250 in February, up 12.3%, with single-family homes selling for a median of $322,500 and three transactions exceeding $1 million. Recorded home sales dropped to 168 transactions worth $44.3 million, a 4% decrease from March last year. The Herald-Times
- ➤ Apartment listing prices in Monroe County remained at $1,268 in May, matching April's average according to data from Apartment List.
