- ➤ Today at noon, the city will unveil its first tactile map at Switchyard Park near the pavilion and B-Line trail—designed with raised textures, braille labels, and unique patterns to help visitors navigate different park areas—with Mayor Kerry Thomson, parks staff, and Council for Community Accessibility members in attendance. The map was created by Touch Graphics using local input and cost $12,000 from COVID relief funds, and the city will also host its Juneteenth Celebration from 2 to 9 p.m. The Herald-Times
- ➤ Bloomingfoods Co-op Market announced its SNAP Double Dollars program will end June 15 as COVID grant funds have run out, affecting 787 customers who used it to lower prices on eligible items. - ➤ The Indiana University board of trustees approved a resolution on Thursday to indemnify former men's basketball team physician Brad Bomba Sr.—who died May 9 at age 89—for legal fees and potential settlement costs amid a federal lawsuit by former players.
