- ➤ On Friday, June 13, a head-on collision on State Road 46 at Stinesville Road killed one Spencer motorist and seriously injured another, Cindy Bentley, who was taken by helicopter to IU Health Methodist Hospital as Monroe County investigators worked to clear the scene. The B Square Bulletin
- ➤ A head-on collision on State Road 46 just east of Stinesville Road on Friday, June 13 left one Spencer driver dead and another seriously injured, who was airlifted to IU Health Methodist Hospital—deputies arrived at 5:18 p.m. and crews later cleared debris while investigating the cause. - ➤ Indiana University trustees approved a $225,000 bonus for President Pamela Whitten during the June 12 meeting, just four months after she received a $200,000 raise—student trustee Kyle Siebert opposed the bonus citing significant financial challenges for employees. The Herald-Times

- ➤ Bloomington planning and transportation staff will review changes to the Allowed Use Table on July 14—following a May 30 legal notice that details updates to housing, commercial, and other uses.
