- ➤ A month after a tornado heavily damaged People & Animal Learning Services, Executive Director Christine Herring said her team is checking the damage and planning next steps to reopen. - ➤ An array of 500 U.S. flags was displayed along West 3rd Street in front of Ivy Tech Community College as part of a national program—each flag purchased to honor a veteran and raise funds for homeless veterans. - ➤ Indiana University's Eskenazi Museum of Art has launched its Collections Online portal that lets visitors view over 47,000 pieces of artwork without coming in person. - ➤ Indiana football received the commitment of Parker Elmore, a Class of 2026 in-state prospect from Columbus North (6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 225 pounds) who held offers from Kent State and Illinois State. He missed recent seasons due to a torn ACL (suffered as a sophomore) and is expected to boost the team as IU builds on its College Football Playoff appearance. The Herald-Times
- ➤ Bloomington South seniors will compete in the IHSAA state golf finals at Prairie View in Carmel, marking their 39th appearance and fifth in a row (their best streak since 1996 to 2002).
