- ➤ The Monroe County Board of Health will consider a new public comment policy at its upcoming June meeting after removing comments from the May agenda due to time constraints and unproductive sessions—members have proposed email and website options to make public input easier. - ➤ Indiana men's basketball coach Darian DeVries rebuilt his team from scratch by signing 10 transfers and one high school recruit, and the 11-player roster held its first practice on June 2. The coach said the roster may be undersized but shows strong shooting — extra practices in Puerto Rico in August will help build team chemistry — as they aim to compete this season. - ➤ Indiana basketball coach Darian DeVries added Serbian guard Aleksa Ristic to the team on Monday, June 16 after his agent confirmed the commitment by phone with assistant coach Kenny Johnson. Ristic, who played for Serbia's U20 team and averaged 13.9 points for KK Dynamic, will join the Hoosiers in late July for the 2025-26 season — making him the 12th scholarship player and second true freshman on the roster.
