- ➤ A 31-year-old man from Bloomington was arrested for OWI after his Dodge Ram rear-ended a Massey Ferguson tractor on Ind. 45 at South Duncan Road at 5:40 a.m. on July 10 — tractor driver Jesse Prince was injured and taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital while the pickup driver was treated for minor injuries and booked on a charge of driving while intoxicated resulting in serious injury. - ➤ A 31-year-old Bloomington man was arrested on an OWI charge+ with a prior conviction after his 2004 Dodge Ram rear-ended a Massey Ferguson tractor on West State Road 45 near South Duncan Road on July 10th, injuring tractor operator Jesse Prince and truck driver Jared Hash as emergency crews kept the road closed from 5:40 a.m. until 8:20 a.m. The Bloomingtonian
- ➤ On July 10 around 5:40 a.m., a Dodge Ram truck driven by 31-year-old Jared Hash rear-ended a farm tractor near SR 45 and South Duncan Road west of Bloomington, seriously injuring operator Jesse Prince who was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital—and Hash was arrested for OWI causing serious bodily injury. - ➤ Monroe County Community School Corp. will offer a free online school for K-12 students in Indiana for the 2025-26 school year starting Aug. 6 (enrollment opens late July). The board approved the program on July 8 to help students with different needs and boost enrollment while offering live help and hybrid course options. The Herald-Times

- ➤ Monroe County commissioners discussed a draft letter to state legislators proposing changes to local income tax rules needed for a new 500-bed jail at North Park — the letter would let the county pledge more LIT revenue and remove the annual renewal requirement. - ➤ Indiana University professor Jorge José led a team that used artificial intelligence to create a test which can spot autism and ADHD in as little as 15 minutes by measuring small movement differences.
