  • People and Animals Learning Services resumed limited programming in mid-June after an EF2 tornado hit on May 16, but the site is still clearing debris and repairing structures. Local volunteers and companies helped with repairs—restoring about 30% of downed fencing and setting up temporary office space.  Indiana Daily Student

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Simtra BioPharma Solutions purchased the former General Electric site (65 acres) from Cook Group on Curry Pike north of 3rd Street on July 25 to build its first U.S.-based injectable drug facility focused on oncology.
