- ➤ Joe Wilson, a longtime barber and classic car fan from Bloomfield, died on July 22 at 86. He loved driving his deep-sky-blue 1952 Kaiser along a two-mile route from Wyatt’s Drive-In to the Frost Top in Petersburg—he led local classic car clubs that kept the cruising tradition alive. - ➤ The Buskirk-Chumley Theater will host the Blockbuster Decades Film Series that shows one film each on Aug. 8, 9, 15, 16 and 22 at 7 p.m.—featuring movies from the 1970s to the 2010s. - ➤ Starting this fall, the Kelley School of Business will enforce new admissions rules—direct applicants for fall 2026 and later will need to complete a Kelley Prospective Inventory for committee review while standard admits must earn a minimum of B+ for fall 2025 to spring 2026 and an A- for fall 2026 to spring 2027, replacing the old criteria.
