- ➤ On Friday afternoon, a Chrysler minivan crashed into a Ford F-450 on State Road 45 near the 27-mile marker in Greene County—41-year-old William Brand of Bedford died at the scene while the other driver was treated for injuries at a Bloomington hospital. WTHR

- ➤ Based on a coroner’s report, Bloomington police detectives added a level 1 felony charge for dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death against inmate Seth G. Svenson after a 34-year-old woman died of fentanyl toxicity on June 18 at a residence on South Odell Drive—she reportedly had used heroin the night before. The B Square Bulletin
- ➤ Bloomington man Sean G. Svenson, 46, was arrested August 7th for felony dealing resulting in death after selling $60 worth of fentanyl-laced heroin to a couple at their Odell Drive apartment on June 17th—which led to a 34-year-old woman's fatal overdose on June 18th and resulted in his being held at Monroe County Jail on $100,500 bond.
