- ➤ Bloomington/Monroe County Human Rights Commission honored the Bloomington Severe Winter Emergency Shelter — known as B-SWERS — with the 2025 Human Rights Award for its work providing emergency shelter during extreme winter conditions in 2024. - ➤ Target is recalling 803 cases of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies sold in Indiana and 20 other states plus Washington, D.C.—the voluntary recall was issued on July 22 by Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp due to potential wood contamination that may cause temporary health issues.
