- ➤ Bloomington High School South won 49–13 in Friday’s away game at Terre Haute North Vigo as running back Braylen Townsend scored five touchdowns and Shaun Cooper added two—helping the Panthers start 3–0. The team’s decisive plays in both halves secured the victory. The B Square Bulletin
- ➤ Indiana football beat Kennesaw State 56-9 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington on Saturday—improving the team to 2-0 as they gained 593 yards. The Hoosiers will face Indiana State University at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ The Hoosiers volleyball team started their season strong by winning the Indiana Invitational 3-0 at Wilkinson Hall and moving to 5-0 with key contributions from freshmen such as Jaidyn Jager—who had 20 kills—and setter Teodora Kričković.
