- ➤ Heidi Mariam Fitzgerald served as the featured artist at the Lotus World Music & Arts Festival where she led a hands-on workshop in Indian woodblock printing on bandanas outside the Monroe County Public Library. She will expand her fashion studio with a two-day event on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 at 212 S. Rogers St.—inviting visitors to try on custom clothing. Indiana Daily Student
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Indiana University paused its decades-old language immersion program for high schoolers because of declining enrollment with no set timeline for a restart—alumni and instructors are urging the school to reinstate it to preserve valuable international ties and student growth. - ➤ Indiana volleyball beat Washington at home Saturday night by seven points across three sets and moved to 2 to 0 in conference play and 11 to 1 overall.
