- ➤ Indiana University’s Office of Student Life has barred 27 fraternities from hosting social, philanthropic, and alcohol-related events—after multiple alleged hazing incidents—and four fraternities received cease and desist orders, with Tau Epsilon Phi suspended Friday and Beta Chi Theta halted Nov.4 until further notice. - ➤ Indiana wrestling improved to 2-0 after defeating Columbia 22-19 at Edgewood High School in Ellettsville on Friday—this win followed a season-opening dual and sets the stage to face the University of Oklahoma on November 23 in Norman. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana’s best defense turned the game around—holding Wisconsin to 23 total yards in the second half and giving the Hoosiers a 31 to 7 win on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. - ➤ Senior outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles set a program record with her 39th Big Ten win as Indiana beat Oregon 3-1 on Friday at Wilkinson Hall in Bloomington—she reached 1,293 career kills and helped her team move toward a historic 20-win season with five regular season matches remaining. - ➤ Indiana football defensive end Mikail Kamara started on Senior Day but was replaced in the first quarter against Wisconsin after he did not have his helmet on the sideline—a sign he could be dealing with an injury.
