- ➤ IU World’s Fare was held Friday at Alumni Hall at Indiana Memorial Union and featured 18 cultural performances and booths from 19 international student organizations that showed native traditions using fortune-telling — dance routines and games. - ➤ Jim Biddle has kept his 1951 Pontiac Chieftain in original condition in Bloomington for nearly 50 years—its dents and scratches remain authentic. He drives it on cool fall days and will cover it for winter. The Herald-Times
- ➤ On Friday night, Fourth Wall’s premier event in Bloomington featured three one-act plays about aging, family, and faith and drew a sold-out crowd of 95 - veteran actor Spyridon Stratigos returned to the stage for the first time in a decade, and organizers added extra seating as 10 tickets were turned away - marking a successful evening for local theater. - ➤ The Jewish Theatre of Bloomington wrapped its run of Arthur Miller’s ‘The Price’ from November 6 to 16 (the closing piece of its 20th season) as it showed the struggles of two brothers dealing with their past over family belongings in a cramped attic. - ➤ This week, Bloomington will host several live music events as Jacobs School of Music bands will present a (free) fall showcase at Musical Arts Center and cover band Welcome to The Neighborhood will play at The Bluebird on Wednesday. Additional shows will include jazz sessions at The Vault Pub on Thursday and a jazz salon at Morgenstern Books and Café on Friday, a (21+) Emo Nite at The Bluebird on Saturday, and touring country musician Nick Shoulders with opener Clover-Lynn on Sunday. - ➤ Indiana football landed former Penn State commit Lavar Keys, a three-star wide receiver, on Sunday after he reopened his recruitment when the Nittany Lions fired coach James Franklin on Oct. 12. He visited Bloomington during a 56-6 win over UCLA and now joins 22 other recruits in the 2026 class—strengthening the team for the coming season. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ An exhibit named Outfitting IU Athletics: Hoosier Champions opened at McCalla School and will show historic IU sports memorabilia until October 2026—featuring items like Kyle Schwarber’s bat, underwater cameras used by Doc Counsilman and shoes worn by Steve Alford as community members, fans and alumni celebrated IU’s athletic legacy at the opening event.
