- ➤ Rose Hill Cemetery in Bloomington will join over 4,900 sites by hosting volunteers who place sponsored wreaths on veterans' graves on Saturday, Dec. 13 — organizers plan to raise funds to ensure every veteran's headstone has a wreath. The Bloomingtonian
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ College students living off campus in Bloomington are urged to review their lease details (covering utilities like water, electricity, and internet) and use automatic payments to avoid late fees. They should also maintain a budget for rent and other bills while keeping in touch with their property managers (to address any billing concerns) as they manage their independent living. - ➤ Fraternities in good standing at Indiana University will resume all activities on Dec.1 after a recent ban is lifted, while those under investigation remain restricted. The university also lifted the ban on students breaking residence hall contracts to join fraternity houses—students must end contracts by Dec.14. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ The Indiana University campus offers several parking permit options for students, including a standard permit for ST spaces and Campus Housing spots available after 5 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday, while off-campus students can apply for a permit from the City of Bloomington website (prices vary by zone). - ➤ Indiana's Conor Enright limited Kansas State guard P.J. Haggerty to 16 points in an 86-69 win Tuesday (at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall) as the Hoosiers used strong defense to slow the nation's top scorer.
