- ➤ Indiana University and Eli Lilly launched a five-year research collaboration worth $40M to expand clinical trials at IU Indianapolis campus. - ➤ Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza was named the Big Ten offensive player and quarterback of the year on Thursday, Dec. 4 when the conference awarded top honors, and left tackle Carter Smith earned offensive lineman of the year; Mendoza + Smith led a group of 17 Hoosiers to All-Big Ten honors. - ➤ Indiana volleyball overcame a slow start on Thursday at Wilkinson Hall to defeat Toledo in a three-set NCAA Tournament match. The win boosts confidence & sets the stage for a game against Colorado at 6 p.m. today. Indiana Daily Student
- ➤ Indiana football completed its first undefeated regular season on Nov. 29 and will face Ohio State at Lucas Oil Stadium.
