- ➤ Monroe County commissioners delayed the removal of the Thomson encampment from tomorrow, Dec. 8, to Dec. 15 (affecting an estimated 40 to 50 residents) after activists raised concerns over cold weather and safe relocation. The county-owned property is within city limits. The B Square Bulletin

- ➤ On Saturday, Indiana basketball dropped its second straight game, falling 87-78 to Louisville at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as a slow start proved costly; Tucker DeVries led with 26 points while Nick Dorn hit key triples in the final minutes. The Herald-Times
- ➤ IU football's defensive end Mikail Kamara suffered a lower-body injury in the third quarter of the Big Ten title game and left briefly before returning after trainer consultation (he did not put weight on his right leg), while receiver Omar Cooper Jr. also exited due to a leg injury.
