- ➤ Bloomington grocery stores will have special holiday hours on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day. For example, Kroger and Walmart will operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 — Aldi and others will have shortened hours before returning to normal schedules on Dec. 26. The Herald-Times
- ➤ Bloomington Volunteer Network is offering local volunteer opportunities today. Volunteers can serve at Wheeler Mission’s Christmas Day meal service, become theater ushers at Buskirk-Chumley Theater with training on Jan. 27, help care for wildlife at WildCare Inc., and donate to New Hope for Families to support families facing homelessness. - ➤ Monroe County Commissioners extended the eviction notice period from 7 to 30 days for residents of a homeless camp located between Switchyard Park and RCA Community Park (with camp clearouts deferred until March 2) to help them prepare for winter weather. WRTV

- ➤ Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti locked in new three-year deals for defensive coordinator Bryant Haines and offensive coordinator Mike Shanahan today ahead of the Rose Bowl. Haines is expected to earn over $3 million a year while Shanahan has played a key role since 2016. The Herald-Times
