- ➤ Ken Nunn, a longtime local personal-injury lawyer, died at age 85 on Dec. 24. He founded his law office in 1967 — starting only with a card table and folding chairs — and his firm, now employing nearly 90 staff, announced his passing on Christmas Day and will be led by his daughter. - ➤ The church, built in 1919, resumed service on Christmas Eve—its first since an Oct. 1 fire—and will host free breakfast after Sunday service as crews work on restoring the sanctuary for a late January reopening. WRTV
