New Art New Music

About this event

An annual collaboration between the Student Composers Association in the IU Jacobs School of Music and the Eskenazi School's Grunwald Gallery. The performance will feature premieres by composers Sam Thompson\, Anchi Wang-Hall\, Devon Lee\, Archer Lohman\, and Darren Binkowski.

"STORY" is a creation myth drawn from the lived experience of the artist\, who was born and raised in Japan as a third-generation Korean national. Infused with theatrical elements and embodied performance\, "STORY" explores how one might establish a sense of self and live with rootedness amid the constant flux of identity.
